What version of Norton Anti Virus am I using?

To determine the version of Norton anti virus you are running, simply double click on the lower right hand corner of you screen. A Symantec Anti Virus box should appear.

This should contain the information you need.
  • Parent Server: SAVDRM1
    (If you live in the Resident Hall or use wireless, your parent server should be SAVDRM1)
  • Program: 10.0.1.1000
    (Norton AV version- current working versions 9.x  and 10.x )
  • version: 2/13/06
    (Virus definition should not be older than one week, usually they are 1 or 2 days old. Norton may publish a new definition every day when there is high virus activity on the internet.
