"Server certificate revocation' error in Clean Access

"Server certificate revocation" error message occurs in Clean Access

When you try to log in to Clean Access, you receive the following error message:

"Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed?"

Even if you click on "Yes", it never goes away.

This error is caused by a restrictive security setting in Internet Explorer.

Change this setting in Internet Explorer before you try to log on to the campus network:

  1. Open Internet Explorer. Drop down the Tools menu, and select Internet Options.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab all the way on the right side.
  3. Scroll down and locate the section called "Security". Under that heading, find and uncheck the option titled "Check for server certificate revocation".
  4. Click on "Ok" button to save and close this dialog box.
  5. Close Internet Explorer, then log on to Clean Access using your Clean Access client software's pop-up window.
